General Dynamics Unit Wins $1.3 Billion Army National Guard IT, Cybersecurity Contract
General Dynamics (GD) unit GDIT was awarded a $1.3 billion contract to provide enterprise IT and cybersecurity services for the US Army National Guard and other federal government partners, the company said Friday.The Enterprise Network Operations and Cybersecurity Support contract, awarded by the General Services Administration's Assisted Acquisition Services, has a one-year base period and six one-year option periods, the company said.GDIT will operate, modernize, integrate and defend the Guard's classified and unclassified networks, the company said.The company said it will also provide integrated IT services, including establishing new operations centers, workforce support and technology provisioning, while deploying artificial intelligence, data analytics and communication capabilities to enhance mission execution.Price: $389.56, Change: $+2.64, Percent Change: +0.68%
