Global Resource Construction Unit Bags SG$96 Million Civil Engineering Project; Shares Up 8%
Global Resource Construction's (SGX:S3N) subsidiary, Chip Eng Seng Contractors, secured a civil engineering works project worth SG$95.7 million from the Housing & Development Board, according to a Monday bourse filing.Shares of the civil engineering and construction company surged over 8% in Tuesday's late-morning trade.The project is expected to run for about 55 months and is likely to commence in the second quarter of the year.
