Canadian Airline Scheduling "Largely" Intact For Now, Says Stifel Canada

U.S. airlines are starting to curtail off-peak capacity, but Canadian scheduling appears largely intact for now, writes Stifel Canada analyst Daryl Young.In a note, Young says Canadian airlines are still planning strong growth through peak summer. Tower Resources Gets Permit For New Diamond Drilling Program at Rabbit North

Tower Resources (TWR.V) received permit to resume diamond drilling on its Rabbit North orogenic gold discovery in the heart of the Kamloops porphyry copper (Cu) mining district, it said Thursday.Mobilization of the drill rig is underway. Canada's GDP to Rebound in First Two Quarters of This Year, Says CFIB

However, with business confidence indicating cautious optimism, business owners are prioritizing upkeep over expansion projects.The sectoral profile on investment shows that at least two-thirds of firms in every sector plan to invest in employee training, according to CFIB. A strong majority of firms in most sectors look to invest in marketing and promotion, while at least half of firms across most sectors plan to invest in non-Artificial Intelligence technology or equipment.The Q1 2026 private sector job vacancy rate remained unchanged at 2.8%, representing 391,300 unfilled positions.
