Sealsq Updates Orbital Quantum Security Cloud Development
Sealsq (LAES) said Friday it made progress in developing the Quantum Spatial Orbital Cloud, an orbital platform designed to deliver post-quantum-secure services from space.The company said the first satellite dedicated to the QSOC architecture is scheduled for launch on a SpaceX mission in Q4, marking the start of a multi-year deployment plan expected to scale to up to 100 satellites by 2033.Sealsq said the initiative builds on satellite deployments since 2023, during which 21 partner-operated satellites launched via SpaceX were used to test and validate space-based security technologies.
