Misumi Group Net Attributable Income Rises 62% in Fiscal Q1

Misumi Group (TYO:9962) posted a 62.1% year-over-year increase in net income attributable to owners of the parent to 11.70 billion yen for the three months ended June 30 from 7.22 billion yen.The Japan-based configurable components producer's basic earnings per share increased to 44.23 yen from 26.28 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo Stock Exchange filing on Friday.Net sales revenue increased 32.3% to 131.44 billion yen from 99.37 billion yen in the year-ago period.In a separate filing, the company raised its forecast for the first half, with an attributable profit of 23.30 billion yen, EPS of 88.18 yen, and sales of 266 billion yen.Also, for the full fiscal year ending March 31, the company raised its forecast, with an attributable profit of 44.80 billion yen, EPS of 169.67 yen, and sales of 532 billion yen.The company plans to pay an interim dividend of 30.92 yen per share for the current fiscal year.

Misumi Group Repurchases 3.08 Billion Yen Worth of Shares in June

Misumi Group (TYO:9962) repurchased 824,100 ordinary shares between June 1 and June 30 through market purchases via a discretionary transaction method for 3.08 billion yen, according to a Wednesday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.The repurchases are part of an ongoing share buyback program originally authorized by the board of directors on May 22. The program permits the acquisition of up to 13 million shares for a purchase price of 30 billion yen.With this, Misumi Group has repurchased over 1.1 million shares to date for 4.16 billion yen. Misumi's Net Income Rises 11% in Fiscal 2025

Misumi's (TYO:9962) net income attributable to owners increased nearly 11% to 40.5 billion yen for fiscal year 2025 from 36.5 billion yen a year earlier.The industrial mold manufacturer's net income per share rose to 149 yen from 131.62 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Thursday.Net sales grew 9.8% to 441.4 billion yen for the year ended March 31 from 402 billion yen in the prior year.It declared a final dividend of 34.96 yen per share, payable from June 24.For the fiscal year 2026, the company expects attributable net income of 37.4 billion yen, net income per share of 141.17 yen, and net sales of 491.5 billion yen.
