Misumi Group (TYO:9962) posted a 62.1% year-over-year increase in net income attributable to owners of the parent to 11.70 billion yen for the three months ended June 30 from 7.22 billion yen.
The Japan-based configurable components producer's basic earnings per share increased to 44.23 yen from 26.28 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo Stock Exchange filing on Friday.
Net sales revenue increased 32.3% to 131.44 billion yen from 99.37 billion yen in the year-ago period.
In a separate filing, the company raised its forecast for the first half, with an attributable profit of 23.30 billion yen, EPS of 88.18 yen, and sales of 266 billion yen.
Also, for the full fiscal year ending March 31, the company raised its forecast, with an attributable profit of 44.80 billion yen, EPS of 169.67 yen, and sales of 532 billion yen.
The company plans to pay an interim dividend of 30.92 yen per share for the current fiscal year.
