Valor's Total Sales Grow 12% in May
Valor's (TYO:9956) May total sales climbed over 12% year on year, while existing store sales rose 7.6%, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Wednesday.During the month, the unit price per customer increased 3.6%, while the number of customers grew 3.9%.Pharmacy sales jumped 3.9% at all stores and climbed 0.7% at existing stores.Home improvement sales recorded a 3.3% increase at all stores and 4.5% gain at existing stores.The group opened seven new stores in May, bringing its total network to 1,553 stores across its portfolio.
