H.I.S. to Acquire RADO Travel Service, Making It a Wholly Owned Subsidiary

(TYO:9603) will acquire 100% of the shares of RADO Travel Service from Adventure for 688 million yen, making it a subsidiary, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Friday.The share transfer agreement was concluded on Sept. 11, and the effective date is planned for Nov. 30, with a minor impact on business performance.The acquisition is part of H.I.S.' mid-term business plan, aimed at transforming core areas and taking on new challenges for sustainable growth.The acquisition is expected to generate synergies through joint product planning and strengthened distribution capabilities in regional markets.
