Renova March Power Sales Rise 5% Above Plan

Renova (TYO:9519) said its electricity sales in March rose 5% above plan, with output reaching 318 million kilowatt-hours, according to a Monday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.Electricity sales increased 51% from a year earlier, driven by contributions from biomass and solar power plants, the company said.For the fiscal year ended March 31, total electricity sales reached about 3.3 billion kilowatt-hours, slightly below planned levels.The company said output curtailment had a limited impact on annual revenue, accounting for about 0.3% of its full-year plan, despite temporary halts at some plants following grid control instructions.
