Yamato Widens Attributable Loss in Fiscal Q1
Yamato's (TYO:9064) loss attributable to owners of the parent widened to 5.89 billion yen for the fiscal first quarter from 5.42 billion yen a year earlier.The logistics firm's basic loss per share widened to 18.59 yen from 17.01 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Monday.Operating revenue rose 1.4% to 443.3 billion yen in the three months ended June 30 from 437.4 billion yen in the year-ago period.It declared a second-quarter dividend of 23 yen per share.For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, the company expects attributable income of 16 billion yen, basic EPS of 50.52 yen, and operating revenue of 1.918 trillion yen.The company expects to pay a year-end dividend of 23 yen per share for the current fiscal year.Shares of Yamato fell over 1% at market close.
