IwaiCosmo's Profit Jumps 55% in Fiscal Year 2025

IwaiCosmo's (TYO:8707) profit attributable to owners of the parent surged 55% to 10.4 billion yen for the fiscal year 2025 from 6.73 billion yen a year earlier, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Friday.The securities company's earnings per share increased to 444.61 yen from 286.34 yen a year ago, according to preliminary figures released ahead of the final results due April 24.Operating revenue jumped 25% to 32.3 billion yen for the full year ended March 31 from 25.8 billion yen in the prior year.The company attributed the record highs in operating revenue, operating profit, ordinary profit, and attributable profit primarily to higher U.S. equity revenue, noting that ordinary profit has remained positive for 54 consecutive quarters.
