Lasertec Net Attributable Income Falls 8.5% in Fiscal Full Year

Lasertec (TYO:6920) posted an 8.5% year-over-year fall in net income attributable to owners of the parent to 77.5 billion yen for the fiscal year ended June 30 from 84.7 billion yen.The inspection equipment maker's earnings per share fell to 862.26 yen from 937.82 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo Stock Exchange filing on Thursday.Net sales fell 8.3% to 230.5 billion yen from 251.5 billion yen in the year-ago period.In a separate filing, the company said that its board approved a 197 yen per share year-end dividend, paid from retained earnings, for the fiscal year ended June 30. It will be paid on Sept. 28 to shareholders on record as of June 30.Looking ahead to the fiscal year ending June 30, 2027, the company forecasts attributable income of 90 billion yen, EPS of 1,004.12 yen, and net sales of 290 billion yen.

Lasertec's (TYO:6920) net income attributable to owners of the parent rose 7.8% to 56.8 billion yen for the nine months ended March 31 from 52.7 billion yen a year earlier.The inspection equipment maker's net income per share increased to 631.96 yen from 583.77 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Thursday.Net sales gained 0.4% to 169.5 billion yen from 168.8 billion yen in the prior-year period.It declared a year-end dividend of 214.00 yen per share, payable after the fiscal year-end.For the fiscal year ending June 30, the company expects attributable net income of 72 billion yen, net income per share of 801.89 yen and net sales of 220 billion yen.Lasertec plans to pay a year-end dividend of 197 yen per share for the year, bringing the total annual dividend to 329 yen, which is higher than the amount paid in the prior fiscal year.
