Tobila Systems Profit Slides 5.1% in Fiscal H1
Tobila Systems' (TYO:4441) profit fell 5.1% to 335 million yen for the fiscal first half ended April 30 from 353 million yen a year earlier.The company, which develops and sells nuisance call filter products, said earnings per share declined to 32.85 yen from 34.41 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Wednesday.Net sales jumped 22% to 1.67 billion yen from 1.37 billion yen in the prior-year period.For the fiscal year ending Oct. 31, the company expects profit of 531 million yen, EPS of 52.58 yen, and net sales of 3.37 billion yen.Tobila plans to pay a final dividend of 20 yen per share for the current fiscal year, which is lower than the 21.30 yen per share paid in the year-ago period.
