Kakiyasu Honten's Full-Year Profit Climbs 16%

Kakiyasu Honten's (TYO:2294) profit attributable to owners of the parent rose 16% to 811 million yen for the fiscal year ended April 30, from 701 million yen a year earlier.The meat and food producer's basic earnings per share increased to 84.69 yen from 71.50 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Wednesday.Net sales were little changed at 36.1 billion yen.Kakiyasu Honten declared a final dividend of 85 yen per share, payable from July 27.For the fiscal year ending April 30, 2027, the company expects attributable profit of 800 million yen, basic EPS of 83.50 yen, and net sales of 36 billion yen.Kakiyasu Honten plans to pay a year-end dividend of 85 yen per share for the current fiscal year, which is unchanged from the amount paid in the year-ago period.
