Tai Tung Communication's Chairman Indicted on Perjury Charge
Tai Tung Communication (TPE:8011) said the Taiwan Taipei District Prosecutors' Office has indicted Chairman Lee Ching-Huang on a charge of perjury, according to a Monday exchange filing.The fiber-optic cable manufacturer said the case is a personal matter involving the chairman and is unrelated to the company's operations or financial affairs, adding that it expects no material impact on its business or financial position.Lee will engage legal counsel to handle the matter in accordance with applicable law, the filing said.
