Tai Tung Communication's Chairman Indicted on Perjury Charge

Tai Tung Communication (TPE:8011) said the Taiwan Taipei District Prosecutors' Office has indicted Chairman Lee Ching-Huang on a charge of perjury, according to a Monday exchange filing.

The fiber-optic cable manufacturer said the case is a personal matter involving the chairman and is unrelated to the company's operations or financial affairs, adding that it expects no material impact on its business or financial position.

Lee will engage legal counsel to handle the matter in accordance with applicable law, the filing said.

Legacy Minerals Holdings Enters Farm-in Agreement With Aurelia Metals for New South Wales Project

Legacy Minerals Holdings (ASX:LGM) struck a binding earn-in and farm-in agreement with Aurelia Metals (ASX:AMI) unit Peak Gold Mines covering Legacy's Cobar project in New South Wales, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.Under the first stage of the agreement, Aurelia can earn a 51% interest by funding AU$500,000 worth of exploration within two years. Under stage two, Aurelia is set to earn a further 39% interest by funding an additional AU$1.5 million of exploration within five years.Once the second stage is complete, Legacy Minerals will retain ongoing exposure to the project through either a 10% joint venture participating interest or a net smelter return royalty on gold and base metals, the company said.Shares of Legacy Minerals fell nearly 4% in recent Tuesday trade, while Aurelia Metals was about 3% lower.

Trek Metals Starts Geophysical Survey, Pre-Drilling Earthworks at Western Australia Project

Trek Metals (ASX:TKM) started geophysical surveying and pre-drilling earthworks at the Kuro manganese discovery, within its Christmas Creek project in Western Australia, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.Moombarriga Geoscience is conducting induced polarization surveying while Atlas Geophysics is undertaking extensional ground gravity surveying, with co-funding from the Western Australian Government's Exploration Incentive Scheme, the filing said.Drilling will start within the month, with construction of access tracks and drill pads in progress, per the filing.Shares rose 1% in morning trade on Tuesday.
