JMC Authorizes MOU With China Firm for Chip-on-Film Production Line
JMC Electronics (TPE:6552) said its board authorized the chairman to sign a memorandum of understanding with an undisclosed Chinese company for cooperation on a chip-on-film packaging substrate production line.The company said the project is intended to revitalize assets and improve efficiency, according to a Thursday filing with the Taiwan Stock Exchange.The Chinese counterparty was not identified due to a confidentiality agreement.Shares of the chip-on-film packaging substrate manufacturer were up nearly 1% in recent trade.
