Cameo Communications Gets Shareholder Nod for Capital Reduction
Cameo Communications (TPE:6142) said shareholders approved a capital reduction to offset accumulated losses, with the plan taking effect following Taiwan Stock Exchange approval.The company will reduce its issued shares by 26.6 million, or 8%, from 330.8 million to 304.2 million shares, according to a Friday filing.Shareholders will receive 919.7 new shares for every 1,000 shares held.Trading in the existing shares will end Oct. 14, with the new shares scheduled to begin trading Oct. 27, it said.
