United Renewable Faces Arbitration Over Solar Modules Warranty Dispute; Shares Drop 6%
United Renewable Energy (TPE:3576) received a notice from the Deutsche Institution für Schiedsgerichtsbarkeit (DIS) that Electronic J.R.C. has filed an arbitration against the company, according to a Wednesday Taiwan Exchange filing.Shares fell 6% in Thursday's midday trade.The dispute relates to a warranty issue involving solar modules used in a power plant.The company said that the case is still at an early stage, so the financial impact is not yet determined.United Renewable Energy has appointed legal counsel and plans to defend itself fully, the filing said.
