SouthState Bank Q2 Adjusted Earnings, Revenue Rises; Dividend Increases; Shares Fall After Hours
SouthState Bank (SSB) reported Q2 adjusted earnings late Thursday of $2.35 per diluted share, up from $2.30 a year earlier.Analysts polled by FactSet expected $2.29.Revenue in the three months ended June 30, expressed as sum of net interest income and total noninterest income, rose to $672.7 million from $664.8 million a year earlier.Analysts expected $676.8 million.The company increased its quarterly dividend by $0.06 to $0.66 a share, payable Aug. 14 to stockholders of record Aug. 7.SouthState shares fell 3.3% in after-hours trading.
