Hailiang to Build Saudi Arabian Copper Plant for $566 Million
Zhejiang Hailiang (SHE:002203) plans to partner with Rawas National Investment Holding to construct a high-end intelligent copper product manufacturing and processing plant in Saudi Arabia for $566 million, according to a Shenzhen bourse filing on Tuesday.The plant will manufacture 150,000 tons of copper products every year, including copper tubes, copper bars, copper foil and recycled refined copper products.The Chinese copper product manufacturer's shares rose over 2% at the close.
