Zangge Mining's Q1 Profit Soars 111%
Zangge Mining's (SHE:000408) attributable profit surged 111% to 1.57 billion yuan in the first quarter from 747.2 million yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Saturday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.Earnings per share at the potassium chloride and lithium carbonate producer increased 108% to 1 yuan from 0.48 yuan in the prior-year period.Operating income grew 30% year over year to 715.6 million yuan from 552.1 million yuan.Shares increased 2% during the midday break on Monday.
