Shanghai Medicilon Subsidiary Ordered to Pay Part of Contractual Damages in Debt Dispute
Shanghai Medicilon's (SHA:688202) subsidiary, Medicilon Puya Pharmaceutical Technology (Shanghai), received a court order to bear part of the cost of contractual damages for a debt dispute, according to a weekend disclosure on the Shanghai bourse.The Chinese pharmaceutical company's shares closed 3% higher on Monday.The People's Court of Shijingshan District, Beijing, ordered the company to pay 150,552 yuan to Hongxu Biopharmaceutical Technology (Beijing) in its first-instance judgment.Hongxu Biopharmaceutical is seeking a total amount of 158.5 million yuan.
