Espressif's Q1 Profit Jumps 45%, Revenue Climbs 16%; Shares Down 3%
Espressif Systems Shanghai's (SHA:688018) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first quarter jumped 45% to 135.6 million yuan from 93.7 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Tuesday.Earnings per share rose year on year to 0.82 yuan from 0.61 yuan.Operating revenue climbed 16% to almost 648 million yuan from 557.8 million yuan in the prior year.The Chinese fabless semiconductor maker's shares dropped by less than 3% during the afternoon trade.
