Bank of Nanjing's Q1 Profit Rises 8%, Revenue Climbs 14%
Bank of Nanjing's (SHA:601009) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first quarter climbed 8.1% to 6.60 billion yuan from 6.11 billion yuan a year earlier, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Thursday.Earnings per share increased 6% year on year to 0.53 yuan from 0.50 yuan.Operating revenue rose 14% to 16.1 billion yuan from 14.2 billion yuan in the previous year.The lender's shares rose nearly 3% during the morning trade on Thursday.
