Cofco Sugar's H1 Profit Rises 37%, Revenue Falls 21%
Cofco Sugar's (SHA:600737) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first half rose 37% to 608.3 million yuan from 444.9 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Friday disclosure on the Shanghai bourse.Earnings per share increased year on year to 0.28 yuan from 0.21 yuan.Operating revenue fell 21% to 9.28 billion yuan from 11.8 billion yuan in the prior year.The sugar company's shares jumped 5% at the close.
