Assembly Place Launches New Capsule Hostel Brand

Community living operator Assembly Place Holdings (SGX:TAP) has launched a new brand in the premium capsule hostel segment, named Gather House, according to a Friday filing with the Singapore stock exchange.Gather House, which is the company's eighth brand, will be completed in a phased manner comprising 132 beds upon full completion. The company will introduce 72 beds in the first phase and 60 beds in the second phase.Following the soft launch of the new brand in early August, the first phase of Gather House has achieved occupancy of above 90%.

Assembly Place Holdings Enters JV for Redevelopment Project in Singapore

Assembly Place Holdings (SGX:TAP) has entered a joint venture to redevelop a freehold property comprising five terrace houses in Singapore, according to a Thursday filing to the Singapore stock exchange.The project will be undertaken through newly incorporated joint venture 50 JHS, in which Assembly Place holds a 10% stake. Subsidiary TAP Co‑living will serve as project manager, overseeing redevelopment works and sales and marketing, and will earn related fees.The property acquisition was completed Thursday, with the redevelopment project expected to launch for sale in the fourth quarter of 2026.

The Assembly Place (SGX:TAP) signed a joint venture agreement with three partners to operate serviced apartments in Tanglin Road, Singapore, according to a Wednesday bourse filing.Shares of the co-living spaces operator were down over 2% in Thursday trading.The development site spans approximately 610,487 square feet, with plans to deliver a 700-key serviced apartment inventory for the venture.TS Homes was awarded master tenancy for the site by the Singapore Land Authority for a period of five years, with potential renewal for another 4 years.The joint venture vehicle has been incorporated under the name TSTAPPRH, with The Assembly Place maintaining a 39% equity stake in the project.The other partners include Dankhim Investment, which boasts a portfolio across real estate, co-living and food solutions, alongside Cheng Huat, a director of Prime Residence Home.

The Assembly Place (SGX:TAP) signed a 15-year tenancy agreement with Char Yong (Dabu) Association for a dual-block property in Singapore, spanning a gross floor area of around 26,889 square feet, according to a Monday bourse filing.The property is expected to be handed over in June with operations slate to commence in October this year.The dual-block site comprises a four-story block and an 8-story block, in line with the company's tech-enabled community living vision.The property will also include an AI Lab which aims to foster collaborative learning.
