Vibrant Group (SGX:BIP) has acquired a 60% stake in Fair Breeze Trading for around SG$7.7 million, according to a Monday filing with the Singapore Exchange.Fair Breeze is a supplier of duty-free alcoholic beverages and tobacco products to cruise liners, naval ships, and other maritime customers. It has now become a subsidiary of Vibrant Group.The logistics company also secured call options over the remaining 40% stake, which can be exercised in tranches over three years.

Vibrant Group (SGX:BIP) fully acquired the entire judgment debt of around 59.4 million yuan owed by its 31% associated company, Vibrant Pucheng Logistics (Chongqing), to China Railway Construction Engineering.The debt acquisition was completed after the logistics company acquired the final 20.2 million yuan tranche for 15 million yuan, according to a Friday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

Vibrant Group's (SGX:BIP) attributable profit to owners surged 134% in the fiscal second half ended April 30 to SG$10.2 million from SG$4.4 million a year earlier, according to a Monday filing with the Singapore Exchange.Earnings per share came in at SG$0.0152 compared with SG$0.0064 in the year-ago period.Revenue declined 5.1% year over year to SG$67.5 million from SG$71.2 million.The company declared a first and final dividend of SG$0.004 per share for the period.
