Asiatic Group (SGX:5CR) has agreed to dispose of a 49% stake in Colben Energy (Cambodia) to the chairman of its joint venture partner, Royal Group Phnom Penh, for $3.1 million, according to a Friday filing with the Singapore Exchange.Shares of the engineering management firm sank over 25% in Monday trading.The disposal ends a protracted series of ongoing disputes involving Colben Energy and Royal Group, with the deal also including the waiver of the net amounts, about $16.9 million, due to the Colben entities at the consolidated Group level.

Asiatic Group (SGX:5CR) signed a non-binding heads of agreement to acquire Malaysia-based car dealership, Karrus Mobility, from Karrus Automotive, according to a Friday filing with the Singapore Exchange.The move is part of the company's business diversification strategy.The acquisition depends on the company's due diligence, finalization of consideration and regulatory approvals from relevant authorities. The heads of agreement gives Asiatic a 45-day exclusivity period.

Asiatic Group Swings to Loss in Fiscal Q4

Asiatic Group (SGX:5CR) posted a loss attributable to equity holders of SG$25.7 million in the fiscal fourth quarter, compared with an attributable profit of SG$939,000 a year earlier, according to a Tuesday filing with the Singapore bourse.Loss per share came in at SG$0.0078 in the quarter ended March 31, versus earnings per share of 0.0003 a year earlier.The engineering management specialist's revenue slid 15% year over year to SG$6, the filing said.
