XCF Global Enters Agreement to Advance SAF Refinery Project in Australia

XCF Global (SAFX) said Thursday it has entered into a joint commercialization and development agreement with Continual Renewable Ventures and New Rise Australia.The agreement, signed on June 30, aims to move the New Rise ANZ project from early-stage development toward a structured commercialization phase, XCF said.The companies will explore the potential co-development, financing, construction and operation of a Hydroprocessed Esters and Fatty Acids-based renewable fuels refinery in Australia.If developed, the proposed refinery is set to produce about 175 million liters per year of sustainable aviation fuel and renewable diesel.Under the agreement, XCF may earn up to a 10% equity interest in New Rise Australia through milestone-based technical, development, and project support.The project remains subject to definitive agreements, financing, regulatory approvals, a final investment decision, construction, commissioning, and other customary conditions, the company said.Shares of XCF Global fell more than 5% in the session.Price: $0.41, Change: $-0.02, Percent Change: -5.13%

XCF Global (SAFX) said late Tuesday it has executed definitive commercial agreements with BGN INT US to support feedstock supply, renewable fuel production, logistics and commercialization at its New Rise Renewables Reno facility.Under the agreements, BGN is expected to provide feedstock supply and serve as a commercialization partner, for renewable fuels produced at the facility, including sustainable aviation fuel, renewable diesel and renewable naphtha.XCF said the framework could be expanded to future facilities, subject to operational readiness, market conditions and regulatory requirements.Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Energy stocks were lower Wednesday afternoon, with the NYSE Energy Sector Index dropping 2.5% and the State Street Energy Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLE) falling 2.1%.The Philadelphia Oil Service Sector Index slumped 3.7%, and the Dow Jones US Utilities Index was up 0.2%.In sector news, ships have started sailing through the Strait of Hormuz under a new scheme by the International Maritime Organization to evacuate trapped vessels, a spokesperson told Reuters on Wednesday. The initiative will enable hundreds of ships with some 11,000 seafarers stranded in the Gulf to sail through Hormuz.Front-month West Texas Intermediate crude oil fell 3.8% to $70.45 a barrel, and the global benchmark Brent crude contract dropped 3.7% to $73.97 a barrel.
