Vector Reports Higher Electricity Network Connections in Fiscal Year 2026, Gas Connections Decline

Vector (NZE:VCT) reported total electricity network connections of 642,134 for the fiscal year ended June 30, up 1.6% from 632,106 a year earlier, according to a Wednesday filing with the New Zealand bourse.New connections during the period rose 3.7% to 13,017 from 12,548 connections, per the filing.Gas network connections fell 0.5% to 119,991 customers, while new connections tumbled over 45% to 710 from 1,296, the filing added.
