Kolon Industries Signs Deal With IMM PE for Display, Chip Materials Business Sale
Kolon Industries (KRX:120110) signed a binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) with IMM Private Equity as it pursues the sale of its display coating solutions and chip packaging materials businesses, according to a Monday filing with the Korea Exchange.Kolon Industries said it will provide an update once a final agreement is signed or within three months. The disclosure came in response to the stock exchange's request for clarification on market rumors and media reports, the filing said.Shares of the chemical and textile manufacturing company fell over 4% at market close.
