Hankook Steel Secures KRW2.6 Billion Stern Castings Supply Contract in South Korea
Hankook Steel (KRX:025890) said it secured a 2.56 billion won contract with Samsung Heavy Industries Co (KRX:010140) to supply stern castings for shipbuilding equipment, according to a Tuesday filing with the Korean Exchange.The contract runs from Aug. 10, 2026, through Nov. 25, 2028, and represents 6.41% of its 2025 sales of 39.87 billion won, with supplies to be made in Geoje City, South Korea, and payments to be made following order placement.
