Hankook Steel (KRX:025890) said it secured a 2.56 billion won contract with Samsung Heavy Industries Co (KRX:010140) to supply stern castings for shipbuilding equipment, according to a Tuesday filing with the Korean Exchange.
The contract runs from Aug. 10, 2026, through Nov. 25, 2028, and represents 6.41% of its 2025 sales of 39.87 billion won, with supplies to be made in Geoje City, South Korea, and payments to be made following order placement.
Guolian Securities (SHA:601456, HKG:1456) is looking to buy back between 100 million yuan and 200 million yuan of shares, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.The securities company could buy between 7.7 million and 15.4 million shares at 13 yuan apiece.The share repurchase will help protect the company's value and shareholder rights, Guolian said in its filing.
