SWS Capital Arms Sign Pact to Sell Three Industrial Properties for MYR15.5 Million

SWS Capital's (KLSE:SWSCAP) wholly-owned subsidiaries, U.D. Wood Products and Syarikat U.D. Trading have agreed to sell three leasehold industrial properties in Muar, Johor, to Seng Seang Trading, for 15.5 million ringgit, according to a Wednesday filing to the Bursa Malaysia.The furniture and plastic ware manufacturer will sell a unit of a double-story warehouse, a piece of leasehold industrial land, and a unit of a two-story office and a single-story factory.All three units have a 99-year lease expiring on Dec. 29, 2094.The proposed disposals are expected to be completed in the final quarter of 2026, after which SWS expects a net gain of 2.01 million ringgit.
