Jentayu Sustainables Unit to Sell Ultimate Forte for MYR2 Million
Jentayu Sustainables (KLSE:JSB) will sell its unit Ultimate Forte to Lourdes Medical Center for 1.75 million ringgit in cash, according to a Friday Bursa Malaysia filing.Shares slid about 2% in Monday's midday trade.Jentayu Sustainables had acquired Ohana Specialist Hospital, owned by Ultimate Forte, for 18 million ringgit in 2021.The sale is part of a restructuring to sharpen the company's focus on its renewable energy business. The company expects to record a gain of about 2.37 million ringgit from the disposal.The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of July, it said.
