Global New Material International (HKG:6616) expects a loss of about 50 million yuan to 100 million yuan for the first half of 2026, compared with a profit of about 100 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Monday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange.Revenue is expected to rise by about 180% to 200% year-over-year to 2.5 billion yuan to 2.7 billion yuan from 912 million yuan.The expected loss was mainly due to fair value adjustments and amortization of intangible assets, transaction costs, and business integration expenses related to its acquisition of Merck Group's global surface solution business.
