Changhong Jiahua Shares Rise After Hongtu's Takeover Bid Fails
Changhong Jiahua Holdings (HKG:3991) said its going-private proposal from Hongtu Investment did not meet certain conditions and has therefore lapsed, according to a Sunday bourse filing.As a result, the company will continue to trade on the HKEX, and Hongtu Investment and its affiliated entities will not be permitted to make an offer for Changhong Jiahua or acquire voting rights.Shares of the company were last up 7% on Monday.
