Dekon Food Sells 1.1 Million Heads of Market Hogs in May
Dekon Food and Agriculture (HKG:2419) sold nearly 1.1 million heads of market hogs in May with a total sales revenue of 1.38 billion yuan, according to a Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing.The average selling price of market hogs for the month was 9.42 yuan per kilogram, up 2.2% from the previous month.The livestock company's revenue from the sale of a little over 5.5 million yellow-feathered broilers stood at 186.1 million yuan in the month, with an average selling price of 14.45 yuan per kilogram.For the first five months of 2026, market hog head sales reached over 4.9 million with a revenue of 6.9 billion yuan, while the company reported revenue of 1.04 billion yuan from the sale of 28.9 million broilers.
