Euroseas Signs Charter Contract Extension for Feeder Containership M/V Jonathan P
Euroseas (ESEA) has signed a contract for its feeder containership M/V Jonathan P, extending the charter for a minimum period of 24 months to a maximum period of 26 months at a gross daily rate of $26,000, the company said Tuesday.The charter contract extension will begin at the end of October, following the completion of the vessel's scheduled dry-dock, and will run in continuation of the current contract, Euroseas said.The extension is anticipated to generate about $12.7 million of earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization over the minimum contracted period and raises charter coverage for 2026, 2027, and 2028 to about 97%, 86% and 50%, according to Chairman and CEO Aristides Pittas.Price: $76.72, Change: $-0.07, Percent Change: -0.09%
