Atlanta Electricals Bags Order Worth INR2.85 Billion for Supply of Power Transformers; Shares Up 5%

Atlanta Electricals (NSE:ATLANTAELE, BOM:544527) has received an order worth 2.85 billion Indian rupees from the Punjab State Transmission Corporation for the supply of power transformers, according to a Wednesday filing with the Indian stock exchanges.The company's shares were up 5% in early trade on Thursday.The contract covers the supply of 23 units of 160 MVA, 220/66 kV power transformers along with nitrogen injection fire prevention and extinguishing systems (NIFPES) and optional spares.Punjab State Transmission Corporation has been a customer of the company since 2018, and Atlanta has supplied around 200 transformers with an aggregate installed capacity of around 5,000 MVA across the state of Punjab in India.
