Pepper Money H1 Earnings, Operating Income Rise

Pepper Money (ASX:PPM) logged AU$0.1084 in diluted EPS for the first half of fiscal 2026, compared with AU$0.1016 a year ago, a Thursday filing showed.For the six months ended June 30, total operating income was AU$204 million versus AU$185 million previously, the Australia-listed consumer finance company added.The board declared an interim dividend of AU$0.072 per share, up from AU$0.064 a year earlier, payable Oct. 8 to shareholders on record as of Sept. 9.

New Zealand Shares Rise; Briscoe Group's Fiscal Q2 Sales Increase

Westpac Completes Sale of Home Loan Portfolio to Consortium Including Pepper Money

Westpac Banking (ASX:WBC, NZE:WBC) completed the sale of the RAMS home loan portfolio, around AU$15.4 billion at completion, to a consortium consisting of Pepper Money (ASX:PPM), credit funds and accounts managed by KKR, and PIMCO managed funds, according to separate filings with the Australian and New Zealand bourses on Monday.The bank's common equity Tier 1 ratio increased by around 23 basis points after the completion of the transaction.Pepper Money was appointed servicer of the portfolio, per the filings. It also holds a "small investment" in the securitization financing vehicle which acquired the beneficial interest in the loan portfolio, alongside other members of the consortium.

Pepper Money to Be Appointed Servicer of Home, Personal Loans Portfolio to Be Acquired by Blackstone-Affiliated Entity

Pepper Money (ASX:PPM) entered into binding arrangements under which it will be appointed servicer of a portfolio of Australian home loans and personal loans after a proposed acquisition of that portfolio by an entity wholly owned by funds managed by affiliates of Blackstone, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.The portfolio of loans was originated by HSBC Bank Australia. The portfolio has a total book value of approximately AU$36 billion as of March 31.Pepper Money will act as servicer for the ongoing administration and management of the loans following completion, which is expected to occur in the first half of 2027, subject to satisfaction of the conditions precedent and the relevant parties being operationally ready to implement the migration at completion.
