Polymetals' Revenue from New South Wales Silver-Zinc Mine Increases Quarter-over-Quarter in June Quarter; Shares Fall 8%

Polymetals Resources (ASX:POL) said its revenue from the Endeavor silver-zinc mine in New South Wales during the June quarter came in at AU$45.8 million, compared with AU$27.8 million in the prior quarter, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.The company mined 115,300 tonnes of ore during the June quarter and processed 114,036 tonnes, compared with 77,648 tonnes mined and 75,132 tonnes processed during the March quarter.It produced 396,485 ounces of silver, 490 ounces of gold, 3.3 million tonnes of zinc, and 2.1 million tonnes of lead during the period.Metallurgical recoveries continued to improve following ongoing plant optimization activities, while zinc concentrate grades increased to above 50%, the company noted. During the quarter, it completed three product shipments comprising one zinc concentrate shipment of 5,036 tonnes, and two direct shipping ore shipments of 5,573 tonnes and 5,501 tonnes.Polymetals Resources' shares fell past 8% in recent trading on Tuesday.

Polymetals Resources (ASX:POL) confirmed broad zones of high-grade silver-lead-zinc mineralization in the upper Main Lode at its Endeavor Mine in New South Wales, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.The first 12 underground diamond holes of the 34-hole campaign intersected 45 meters at 197 grams per tonne (g/t) silver, 8.9% zinc, 11% lead and 0.2% copper, and 33 meters at 209 g/t silver, 9.9% zinc, 8.1% lead and 0.2% copper, the filing said.The underground drilling program will continue to improve geological confidence, assess continuity of mineralization and support evaluation of potential mining opportunities within the area, per the filing.Shares rose nearly 2% in morning trade Wednesday.

Polymetals Resources (ASX:POL) said it produced 547,302 ounces of silver, 1.9 million tonnes of zinc, and 1,064 ounces of gold at the Endavour silver-zinc mine in New South Wales as it ramps up mining and processing performance, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.A total of 59,264 tonnes of Main Lode ore was mined and processed in January and February, with mill maintenance conducted over March.It added that 18,384 dry metric tonnes of high-grade direct shipping ore from the Upper North Lode were mined during the March quarter, and the first 5,500-tonne parcel was readied for shipment in April.Its shares climbed 13% in recent trading on Tuesday.
