Novo Resources Formalizes Joint Venture Agreement With Manhattan Gold to Progress New South Wales Project

Novo Resources (ASX:NVO) formalized a joint venture agreement with Manhattan Gold (ASX:MHC) to advance exploration at the Tibooburra gold project in New South Wales, according to a Thursday statement.A roughly 2,700-meter reverse circulation drilling program is due start at Tibooburra late in the third quarter, per the statement.Step out drilling at the Clone prospect will target a northern extension to high-grade gold mineralization, while first-pass drill testing at the Pioneer South prospect will target a 600-meter continuous trend of outcropping gold-quartz reefs, the company said.As part of the agreement, Novo will issue 1.5 million common Shares to Manhattan unit Awati Resources, which will be subject to a four-month hold period.Novo is required to spend AU$1.5 million to exercise its option to form a 70/30 unincorporated joint venture with Awati relating to precious metals and base metals on six tenements located in the Albert Goldfields. The company already spent AU$1.3 million of that commitment as of June 30.Awati is free carried until the completion of a bankable feasibility study at Tibooburra. Once completed, Novo will have the option to terminate the agreement or exercise its option to form the joint venture. If the option is exercised, Novo will obtain a 70% interest in the tenements, the company said.

Novo Resources Completes Maiden Drilling at Western Australia Prospect

Novo Resources (ASX:NVO) completed maiden drilling at the Wyloo SE prospect within its Wyloo Polymetallic Project in Western Australia, confirming strong silver and antimony grades from surface as well as broad zones of zinc mineralization, the company said Wednesday.Recent intercepts include nine meters at 92 grams per tonne grade of silver and 1,280 parts per million of antimony from zero meters, the company said.Additionally, geochemical soil and rock chip sampling across the newly identified Vera prospect at the Wyloo showed a significant 260 meters wide and 600 meters long strike length antimony and arsenic anomaly, with soil peak assay results of 803 parts per million antimony and 1,265 parts per million arsenic.Meanwhile, Novo Resources expanded its ground position at the Toolunga copper-gold project, also in Western Australia, with additional tenements over iron oxide copper-gold targets. The company increased its land holding to 2,242 square kilometers from 1,520 square kilometers, and identified three high-priority coincident magnetic-gravity targets.

Novo Resources Progresses Drilling at Western Australia Antimony Project, Shares Fall 8%

Novo Resources (ASX:NVO) progressed its drill program at the Wyloo antimony project in Western Australia, testing the large polymetallic geochemical target and mineralized structures, with an initial planned program of around 2,500 meters of reverse-circulation drilling, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.Drilling at the Cronus gold prospect will follow with around 2,000 meters of reverse circulation drilling in five fences to test across the Titan Shear. Follow-up drilling at Balla Balla polymetallic project is planned with 6,000 meters of aircore drilling.Preliminary site locations have been identified for drilling in the second half of the year at the Belltopper gold project in Victoria.Its shares fell 8% in recent trading on Thursday.
