Elementos (ASX:ELT) received approval for the upgrade of sections of the public road network and the construction and improvement of the dedicated site access road to the company's Oropesa project in Spain, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.The approval, which covers 8.1 kilometers of critical road access infrastructure, further de-risks the project, the filing said.The company is moving forward with access infrastructure planning, which includes detailed engineering design, finalizing road construction scheduling, and integrating the approved works into the project development schedule, per the filing.Shares fell past 1% in morning trade Tuesday.

Elementos (ASX:ELT) said the regional government of Andalucía granted the company's Oropesa tin project in Spain an Overriding Public Interest classification, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.The designation boosts the project's development certainty and supports a clear pathway for regulatory approvals, including for key water licenses and water-related utilities, per the filing."The declaration formally recognizes tin's national classification as a priority raw material, the project's economic significance and its commitment to responsible environmental management," Elementos Managing Director Joe David said.The company's shares advanced nearly 10% in recent Tuesday trade.

Elementos's Spanish Unit Secures Three Mineral Exploration Tenements from the Andalusian Government via Public Tender

Elementos (ASX:ELT) said the Andalusian government granted its wholly-owned Spanish unit, Minas de Estaño de España, three additional mineral exploration tenements through public tender, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.The tenements, Laurencia, Pascuala, and San Jose, are adjacent to the Oropesa tin project. Regional reconnaissance identified very similar geological signatures to the project.Publicly available soil sampling data collected by government agencies from the application area indicate the San Jose tenement is prospective for critical minerals, including rare earth elements, lithium, tin, tungsten, fluorite, and copper.
