EDU Holdings' (ASX:EDU) total student enrolments for term two of the year in its vocational education and training business, Australian Learning Group, as well as higher education business, Ikon Institute, reached 7,036, up 32% from 5,321 year-over-year, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.Higher education represented 83% of enrolments, up from 70% in the prior corresponding period.New student enrolments for the term came in at 963, up 12% from 859 in the same period in the previous year, the filing said.Its shares rose 14% in recent trading on Monday, reaching their highest-ever point.

EDU Holdings (ASX:EDU) said its revenue for the first quarter came in at AU$25.3 million, up from AU$18 million in the same quarter in the prior year, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.Its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) for the quarter ended March 31 came in at AU$7.3 million, also up from the prior corresponding period EBITDA of AU$5.4 million. Its net profit after tax came in at AU$3.9 million, up year-over-year from AU$2.9 million.It expects revenue, EBITDA, and net profit after tax for the year to be up from 2025.Its shares jumped 11% in recent trading on Tuesday.
