EDU Holdings' (ASX:EDU) total student enrolments for term two of the year in its vocational education and training business, Australian Learning Group, as well as higher education business, Ikon Institute, reached 7,036, up 32% from 5,321 year-over-year, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
Higher education represented 83% of enrolments, up from 70% in the prior corresponding period.
New student enrolments for the term came in at 963, up 12% from 859 in the same period in the previous year, the filing said.
Its shares rose 14% in recent trading on Monday, reaching their highest-ever point.
