BMC Minerals (ASX:BMC) said diamond drilling at its Kudz Ze Kayah project in Canada intersected high grade sulfide mineralization at the Fuego prospect, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.The 20,000-meter drilling program is targeting multiple high-priority targets within 5 kilometers of the proposed ABM Mine.The program encountered intercepts of 5.5 meters at 163 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of silver, 6.4% grade of zinc, 0.9 g/t grade of gold, 0.2% grade of copper, and 4.6% grade of lead from 57 meters, as well as 4.5 meters at 78 g/t grade of silver, 4.2% grade of zinc, 0.5 g/t grade of gold, 1.2% grade of copper, and 0.8% grade of lead from 15.5 meters.BMC Minerals' shares rose nearly 10% in recent trading on Monday.

BMC Minerals (ASX:BMC) said assays from diamond drilling program at its Kudz Ze Kayah project in Yukon, Canada, returned a thick, high-grade massive sulfide intersection at the Krakatoa zone, outside of the current ore reserve, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.It encountered an intersection of 25.1 meters at 180 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of silver, 9.7% grade of zinc, 1 g/t grade of gold, 0.3% grade of copper, and 3.4% grade of lead from 327.5 meters.The result confirms the continuity of high-grade mineralization between historic holes, with the Krakatoa lens remaining open down plunge to the north, the company said.BMC Minerals' shares fell nearly 1% in recent trading on Monday.

BMC Minerals Receives Positive Development Decision for Canada Project

BMC Minerals (ASX:BMC) said it has received a positive decision document for the development of the ABM Mine at its Kudz Ze Kayah Project in Canada, issued by the Government of Yukon, Natural Resources Canada, and the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.The company said the decision follows a recommendation for approval by the Yukon Environmental and Socio-economic Assessment Board in 2020, with ten new terms covering five areas, including financial oversight, operational performance, socio-economic participation, heritage resources, and road access.BMC will continue the permitting process for all remaining permits and licenses for the project, including the Quartz Mining License and Type A and B Water Licenses, the filing added.
