Aurum Resources (ASX:AUE) said its ongoing diamond drilling program at the BDT2 deposit, part of its Boundiali gold project in Ivory Coast, intersected gold mineralization outside the current mineral resource and extended the deposit at depth, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.The final batch of drilling at the deposit comprised of 10 holes for 3,565.05 meters of step-out and extensional drilling, per the filing. It encountered intercepts of 0.61 meters at 47.60 grams per tonne grade of gold from 189.39 meters, as well as 4.46 meters at 4.23 grams per tonne grade of gold from 90 meters.The next mineral resource update for the project is targeted for the end of the September quarter, the company said.
