Acumen Pharmaceuticals Exercises Option on Alzheimer's Program Using JCR's Technology
Acumen Pharmaceuticals (ABOS) exercised its exclusive option to develop, manufacture and commercialize up to two Alzheimer's disease candidates under a collaboration with Japan's JCR Pharmaceuticals.The program uses JCR's technology to enhance delivery of Acumen's Alzheimer's candidates to the brain.JCR said Wednesday it is eligible to receive up to $40 million in development milestones, up to $515 million in sales-based milestones, and tiered royalties on future product sales.Acumen plans to file an investigational new drug application for the program in mid-2027, JCR said.Price: $2.36, Change: $+0.07, Percent Change: +2.84%
